MetaLynx is a computer vision technology startup coming out of the Antler accelerator. They create technology for sports, working on topics such as virtual sponsor additions, and automatic detection of important moments.
I provided advice to this great team of entrepreneurial, scientific and tech talent:
- Market-sizing and guidance on commercial opportunities where their unique tech is most needed, specifically directing them towards the sports sponsorship opportunity, a segment that is in great need for intelligent automation and analyses
- Insights and guidance on the revenue opportunities from also applying their technology to news and sport video archives, and qualified introductions to relevant companies to explore this opportunity further (The Associated Press, Getty....)
- Qualified introduction to relevant companies in sports sponsorship and analysis, for example IMG and Nielsen Sports, leading to their securing of test project and data sets with potential corporate clients; pricing advice relative to alternatives
